One single stone, and another on the charm.
That's all there is, but I was struck by how stylish it looked on the wrist. A bracelet where the blue of the sapphire and the luster of the gold quietly shine through its simplicity—that's what we created.
What we received this time was a platinum sapphire necklace adorned with diamonds, and a loose sapphire (unset stone). Both were round cut and had a vivid, captivating blue.
"I want to make a bracelet. Something I can wear more casually, every day."
When she said she wanted it in gold, I immediately thought it would be absolutely lovely. While the cool white of platinum is beautiful, I felt the warm luster of gold would surely suit the deep blue of this sapphire. It was a moment when the customer's wishes and my vision naturally aligned.
Not too thin, not too thick, so as not to overpower the sapphire. Because it's a bracelet, we were particular about the chain selection, choosing an azuki chain with cuts that transform subtle movements into sparkle, and finished it with a bezel setting that perfectly wraps around the shape of the stone.
The larger sapphire, previously set in the necklace, was placed in the center,
and the smaller sapphire, which was a loose stone, was added as a charm. Simply, just sapphire and gold.
This blue was more than enough on its own.
It's simple, yet has a certain elegance. It became a bracelet where the stone truly gets to be the star.
This customer also owns a 440 Basic - Diamond Bangle (1ct), so just imagining layering them makes me happy.
The dormant sapphire has been transformed into a piece that adorns everyday wrists. These moments, no matter how many times I experience them, always bring joy.
