We received a request for a ruby and diamond necklace and bracelet reform. The customer came to us with kind words, saying that after seeing 440 examples of reform on our Instagram, they wanted us to undertake the re-tailoring.
The jewelry received featured 12 oval-cut rubies and round-cut melee diamonds. The customer requested a matching ring and earrings set, utilizing all the rubies. They desired a large and glamorous design, leaving other design elements up to us.

We carefully considered the customer's wishes and worked on design proposals. We presented two design sketches, and the chosen one was a playful design with free movement. Furthermore, inspired by the customer's comment, "dangling earrings would be nice too," we made modifications to create a swaying design, proceeding only after their full satisfaction.

For the ring, eight rubies were set in an asymmetrical arrangement, with the sparkle of melee diamonds added between them, using a mix of prong and bezel settings. The result is a beautiful ring that harmonizes rubies and diamonds.

Four rubies were set in the earrings, and like the ring, two types of settings were used to create a design that feels connected to the ring. The result is playful earrings with dancing diamonds as an accent.

The customer was delighted with the design proposal and extremely satisfied with the finished ring and earrings. We are also very happy that we were able to repurpose the customer's cherished jewelry and transform it into a new design.
