"I'm looking for a rose quartz pendant top," we received an inquiry from a customer living in Hokkaido. This customer had actually visited us for the first time at an event in March 2021 and ordered a full eternity diamond ring. At that time, they lived in Tokyo, and even after the event, we received a full custom order for a non-heated yellow sapphire ring, which they were very pleased with. Now that they have moved to Hokkaido and it's difficult for them to visit, we held several meetings via email and received a full custom order this time.
The customer requested to use high-quality rose quartz, a simple design suitable for daily wear, and a shape that could be attached to their existing chain.
Even for rose quartz, there are various cuts, qualities, and colors of loose stones. This time, we recommended a pear-shaped cabochon cut rose quartz from the 440 "Mystic" collection, which features a lustrous shine and gentle coloring. The mysterious pink color, emanating from its ample thickness, offers a calm impression without being too cute.
We sent the customer an email with the size and photos of the rose quartz loose stone, design sketches, and detailed explanations for their confirmation, and then proceeded.
The rose quartz, the main focus, is gently supported by three prongs, and a bail is included that is large enough to accommodate the customer's existing chain, as requested beforehand. The luster of the cabochon-cut rose quartz and the plump, rounded shape of the metal combine to create a cohesive and complete design, despite its simplicity. Simple designs often highlight the delicate craftsmanship and skill of the maker.
The finished pendant top was carefully packaged and shipped for delivery. We received a happy message upon its arrival, saying, "It's very beautiful and I love it." Thank you very much for entrusting us with the creation.
